Get TO Know Allegra & Pinecraft Creative

Welcome

to Pinecraft Creative!

I'm Allegra Pine, the one-woman show behind Pinecraft Creative LLC. Pinecraft Creative is the evolution of Allegra Designs, which I launched full-time in 2016. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a wide range of businesses—from local restaurants and retail stores to children’s clothing brands, real estate, outdoor gear, and STEM-focused companies.

I’m deeply passionate about helping small business owners bring their brands to life through graphic design, web design, and creative direction. As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges of launching and running a company. My goal is to empower your business to stand out in an ever-growing competitive landscape, guiding you with creative solutions that align with your vision and meet your customers’ needs.

While I’m based in Sheridan, Wyoming, I love collaborating with businesses across the country, helping them grow and thrive through thoughtful, intentional design.

The story behind the name

It all started when I got married and took the last name Pine. I thought it was so unique that I couldn’t resist turning it into a brand name—because who doesn’t love a good play on their name, right? But the inspiration goes deeper than that. I’ve always been drawn to pine trees and pinecones, and the piñon pine in particular ties back to my New Mexico roots.

The pinecone is a beautiful symbol of nature’s design, full of both scientific and spiritual meaning. Did you know that pinecones contain the Golden Ratio? Their scales are arranged at the Golden Angle (137.5°), forming two intersecting perfect Golden Spirals—one clockwise and one counterclockwise. The Golden Ratio represents balance, harmony, interconnectedness, and even enlightenment. In nature, pinecones use these spirals for efficiency and survival, spacing their scales perfectly to capture sunlight—a detail I absolutely love. Pinecones are also symbols of regeneration and higher knowledge.

The piñon pine, featured in my logo, reflects my upbringing in New Mexico. It’s the state tree, a drought-tolerant symbol of resilience, strength, and perseverance. It’s deeply revered by Southwestern Native American tribes as a “tree of life,” and its presence reminds me of the roots and values that guide me.

These are the principles I bring to Pinecraft Creativethoughtful design, intention, resilience, and a commitment to helping my clients grow in harmony with their vision. Just like the pinecone and the piñon pine, I believe beauty, balance, and purpose can coexist in every project.

A little more about

my Professional background

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design with a Minor in Marketing and Advertising from The Southwest University for Visual Arts (formerly The Art Center Design College) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Before launching my first design business, Allegra Designs, I spent four years as a lead designer on the User Experience team at Northrop Grumman. There, I honed skills in project management, client communication, and user experience research, testing, and analysis.

This background allows me to prioritize your customers’ needs throughout the design process, while my passion for creative problem-solving ensures that every project is unique, intentional, and high-quality.
